About the role
- Reports to the National Practice Director, leading a group of 4 to 8 engineers and detailers
- Supports pursuit and marketing efforts throughout Florida focusing on FDOT, FTE, CFX, and local counties
- Provides leadership and technical guidance to ensure quality services to clients
- Manages project production, client relations, and financial management of the work unit
- Ensures compliance with quality control standards and assists staff in resolving issues
- Participates in maintaining contacts with current and prospective clients and pursues new opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in field of practice
- Post graduate degree preferred
- Management coursework and/or MBA a plus
- 15 years of experience since B.S
- At least three years in positions with project management or supervisory responsibilities
- Must have business vision
- Excellent technical and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage individuals and teams
- Excellent communication skills
