About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prospect new clients within the company's defined ICPs (Ideal Customer Profiles);
  • Identify business opportunities in the private education market;
  • Develop relationships with decision-makers (school directors, school owners/maintainers, coordinators, and commercial and pedagogical managers);
  • Conduct diagnostic/discovery meetings to understand clients' challenges;
  • Prepare sales presentations and product demonstrations;
  • Build commercial proposals in collaboration with internal teams;
  • Lead sales negotiations through to contract closing;
  • Keep the CRM accurately updated throughout the sales process;
  • Organize and continuously monitor your sales pipeline;
  • Keep sales forecasts up to date;
  • Prioritize opportunities according to potential and buying stage;
  • Meet sales targets for revenue, new customers, and activity metrics;
  • Continuously study the private education market;
  • Maintain deep knowledge of our products and competitive differentiators;
  • Track competitor movements and activity;
  • Bring customer feedback to inform product, marketing, and commercial strategy;
  • Identify new segment or partner opportunities;
  • Build trust-based relationships throughout the sales journey;
  • Act as a consultant, seeking to understand the client's strategic objectives;
  • Ensure an organized handover to the implementation and customer success/relationship teams;
  • Support commercial activities at events, trade shows, and in-person meetings when necessary;
  • Work together with Marketing to improve demand generation;
  • Collaborate with Product by sharing market insights;
  • Provide regular feedback to your leader about opportunities, challenges, and negotiation progress;
  • Contribute to the company achieving its growth objectives;

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience selling to schools, education systems, publishers, or other educational institutions;
  • Knowledge of the private education market;
  • Experience with white-label products;
  • Experience in EdTechs;
  • Experience working in startups;
