About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate partner integration workstreams from scoping through implementation support, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and dependencies are documented and tracked.
Support technical discovery sessions with partners to gather requirements, clarify use cases, and translate needs into actionable integration plans.
Partner with internal stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Partner Success Management, and Partner Operations to resolve integration issues and keep work aligned.
Prepare clear written materials, including technical summaries, meeting notes, and partner-facing correspondence.
Assess partner integration approaches against athenahealth platform capabilities and recommend paths that support scalability and maintainability.
Facilitate issue resolution by identifying risks, escalating blockers, and helping coordinate follow-up actions across teams.
Analyze integration requests, implementation impacts, and project status to support decision-making and prioritization.
Apply AI-enabled tools and practices to improve task organization, drafting, research, and workflow efficiency, while using human judgment to review outputs for accuracy, context, and appropriateness.
Contribute to process improvements by identifying opportunities to streamline coordination, documentation, and partner support activities.
Maintain accurate records of partner interactions, project progress, and key decisions in accordance with team standards.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2+ years of experience in technical project management with cross-functional scope.
2+ years of experience in healthcare IT, interoperability, or a related field.
Strong communication and technical writing skills, with demonstrated ability to explain technical information clearly.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and/or HL7 standards.
Knowledge of Agile methods and Lean or continuous improvement practices is a plus.
Experience working with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate technical projects or implementations.
Experience supporting structured documentation, planning, and issue tracking in a professional environment.
Willingness to travel as needed.
