Business Development Manager
Athena Home LoansBusiness Development Manager responsible for building broker relationships while promoting Athena Home Loans. Engaging with brokers to improve application processes and customer experience in the home loan market.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for application results across our aggregator partners
- Being the “go to person” for your brokers
- Building and maintaining outstanding Broker relationships
- Proactively managing a pipeline of Broker scenarios and submitted Apps
- Seeking out new Broker relationships, nurture these relationships until they become vocal advocates for Athena
- Running interactive Broker onboarding sessions to provide in depth knowledge of Athena
- Manage relationships with aggregators including partnership managers and state leaders
- Contributing to discussions in Athena about opportunities and ways to improve Policy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar BDM role managing relationships with broker networks and individual brokers
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships – with brokers, credit teams and clients
- Great focus on sales and conversion
- Exceptional communication skills – clear, engaging, and professional
- You're self motivated
- You're focused on continuous development
- You're a critical thinker and confident in decision making
