About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for application results across our aggregator partners
Being the 'go to person' for your brokers
Building and maintaining outstanding Broker relationships
Proactively managing a pipeline of Broker scenarios and submitted Apps, constantly striving for the ultimate Broker & Customer Experience
Seeking out new Broker relationships, nurture these relationships until they become vocal advocates for Athena, true raving fans
Running interactive Broker onboarding sessions to provide in depth knowledge of Athena, who we are, what we do, the Customers that are right for Athena, our product & process
Manage relationships with aggregators including partnership managers and state leaders
Internal decision making – contributing to discussions in Athena about opportunities and ways to improve

Requirements

What you’ll need

Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar BDM role managing relationships with broker networks and individual brokers
Ability to develop and maintain relationships – with brokers, credit teams and clients
Great focus on sales and conversion
Exceptional communication skills – clear, engaging, and professional
You're self motivated
You're focused on continuous development
You're a critical thinker and confident in decision making
