Oversee laboratory functions and ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards relevant to NGS technologies.
Develop and implement laboratory policies, procedures, and protocols.
Lead the laboratory staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
Coordinate with clinical teams to ensure high-quality patient care and timely results reporting.
Stay updated on advancements in molecular diagnostics and implement new technologies as appropriate.
Manage budgets, resource allocation, and laboratory equipment maintenance.
Participate in accreditation processes and quality assurance programs.
Act as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and external auditors.
Engage in research and development efforts to advance laboratory capabilities.
Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in a relevant scientific discipline.
Current CQ (Certificate of Qualification) for NGS is required.
Minimum of five years of experience in clinical laboratory management, specifically in molecular diagnostics and NGS.
Strong knowledge of laboratory regulations and accreditation standards (CLIA, CAP, etc.).
Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
