Reporting to the Senior Manager, Policy and Common Matters (Regulatory), you will be responsible for leading and managing workload and development of a small team.
Maintaining and building relationships with the various business groups within the organization.
Providing policy and regulatory oversight and guidance on Common Matters facing ATCO Electric and North of 60.
Managing the workload for the team, leading and providing guidance on regulatory and economic analyses to support decisions.
Leading and supporting policy/legislation consultations, analyzing and interpreting the company’s Terms and Conditions.
Participating in various regulatory filings and applications.
Working directly with internal and external clients concerning regulatory matters and preparing information and regulatory reporting required by the company.
Requirements
A professional accreditation with a minimum of 8 years of progressive electric industry experience.
Experience in a regulatory environment will be considered an asset.
Ability to deliver under tight deadlines and manage an unpredictable workload.
Able to leader and foster relationships with business partners.
Able to provide sound advice to business partners.
Strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture and make decisions accordingly.
Ability to work well in a team environment, coordinate with various levels of management.
Proven leadership abilities with strong organizational and analytical skills.
