About the role
- Lead cross-functional project teams including ATC personnel, contractors, consultants, and supplemental resources.
- Deliver projects safely, on time, on budget, and in compliance with environmental, regulatory, and internal requirements.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules, milestones, and execution strategies.
- Partner with internal teams to develop and maintain accurate project cost estimates and forecasts.
- Monitor budgets, cash flow, cost variances, and project risk and contingency.
- Oversee engineering, design, and construction activities performed by third-party vendors.
- Facilitate regular project status meetings, resolve issues, and approve invoices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of progressively responsible experience managing large-scale infrastructure or construction projects
- Preference for candidates with 3+ years of transmission construction or project management experience
- Proven leadership in technical and construction environments
- Strong vendor and contractor oversight capabilities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and decision-making skills
- Strategic thinker who can act tactically to deliver results.
