About the role

  • Lead cross-functional project teams including ATC personnel, contractors, consultants, and supplemental resources
  • Deliver projects safely, on time, on budget, and in compliance with environmental, regulatory, and internal requirements
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules, milestones, and execution strategies
  • Partner with internal teams to develop and maintain accurate project cost estimates and forecasts
  • Monitor budgets, cash flow, cost variances, and project risk and contingency
  • Oversee engineering, design, and construction activities performed by third-party vendors
  • Facilitate regular project status meetings, resolve issues, and approve invoices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of progressively responsible experience managing large-scale infrastructure or construction projects
  • Preference for candidates with 3+ years of transmission construction or project management experience
  • Proven leadership in technical and construction environments
  • Strong vendor and contractor oversight capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and decision-making skills
  • Strategic thinker who can act tactically to deliver results
