About the role

  • Develop and review transmission line design packages including plan and profile drawings, structure and assembly details, general arrangements, section views, and foundation plans.
  • Utilize PLS-CADD and CAD tools to produce accurate, build-ready designs aligned with ATC standards.
  • Review internal and consultant-prepared designs to ensure quality, constructability, and standards compliance; identify and resolve issues early.
  • Prepare and review construction documents, bills of materials (BOMs), and purchase requisitions to support field execution.
  • Provide construction support through design clarifications, updates, and field coordination as needed.
  • Manage as-builts, drawing updates, and record closeout activities to ensure accurate asset documentation.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering Technology, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience using CAD tools for engineering design
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with engineers, consultants, and contractors
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and commitment to quality.
