About the role
- Support, create and process RFQs and spot quotes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Coordinate with internal teams (operations, finance) to gather necessary information for pricing and proposal submissions.
- Analyse customer requirements and prepare competitive pricing proposals.
- Maintain and update quotation databases to track historical pricing and win/loss analysis.
- Assist in contract reviews and commercial negotiations where required.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support commercial decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with internal pricing strategies and policies.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to RFQ conversion rates, pricing trends, and customer feedback.
- Assist with general administrative and commercial support tasks as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a commercial, sales support, or operations coordination role, preferably within the logistics, transport, or supply chain industry.
- Experience with RFQs, pricing models, and commercial operations is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Team player with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
