About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and existing industry relationships.
  • Leverage an existing portable book of business to generate immediate revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with commercial clients across multiple industries.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend customized print, direct mail, fulfillment, packaging, and marketing solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, pricing, and presentations while negotiating contracts and closing profitable business.
  • Collaborate with production, customer service, and project management teams to ensure projects are delivered accurately and on schedule.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting through implementation and ongoing account management.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline reporting within the company's CRM.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and emerging printing technologies.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of outside B2B sales experience within the commercial printing industry.
  • Proven success selling commercial print, direct mail, large-format printing, fulfillment, packaging, or related print solutions.
  • Existing portable book of business with demonstrated ability to transition client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of offset printing, digital printing, direct mail, finishing, fulfillment, and print production processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and strong closing ability.
  • Experience managing multiple client accounts and sales opportunities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, or similar.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
