Maintaining accurate financial records
Managing reconciliations
Supporting reporting activities
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards
Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
Maintaining general ledger entries and categorizing expenses accurately
Performing bank and account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies
Tracking invoices, receipts, business expenses, and financial transactions
Processing payments and reimbursements while maintaining proper documentation
Preparing and recording journal entries
Reconciling vendor invoices, bank statements, and loan payments
Assisting with tax preparation support, including 1099 contractor documentation
Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports
Assisting leadership with profit and loss statements, cash flow reporting, and financial analysis
Supporting audit preparation and documentation requests
Identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need

5–6+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, or financial record management experience
Strong proficiency with QuickBooks
Experience performing bank reconciliations and financial reporting
Strong understanding of accounting principles and U.S. GAAP
Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and reconciliations
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
Ability to work 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (6:30 PM – 3:30 AM IST) on a consistent basis
