About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide 24x7 support for incidents, alerts, and operational issues
- Triage and diagnose incidents using logs, monitoring dashboards, and platform knowledge
- Resolve Tier 1 issues independently and engage Tier 2 for architectural or infrastructure-level complexity
- Own client-submitted iTrack incident tickets through resolution and closure
- Respond to PagerDuty and automated alerts; investigate and remediate issues
- Monitor production and non-production environment health and proactively correct anomalies
- Monitor application support mailboxes and manage operational follow-through
- Provide first-responder C2W emergency support
- Share client profile data and usage reports on request
- Maintain clear incident communication with clients
- Track operational metrics including MTTR and ticket resolution trends
- Develop and maintain Tier 1 SOPs and operational runbooks
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of application production support experience
- Experience independently diagnosing and resolving incidents
- Working knowledge of event streaming platforms, integration middleware, AKS-hosted microservices, and observability tooling
- Hands-on incident lifecycle management in iTrack or equivalent ticketing systems
- Proficiency with Splunk, PagerDuty, Prometheus, and Grafana for troubleshooting and resolution
- Operational experience with Kubernetes, especially Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Knowledge of Confluent Kafka and Azure Event Hub, including consumer lag, topic health, and message flow troubleshooting
- Solid SQL/Postgres skills
- Ability to interpret Java, Spring Boot, and React application logs
- Basic Python scripting capability
- Good Linux/Unix command-line skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work rotational 24x7 shifts
- Awareness of Confluent Cloud, AWS-MSK, and Apache Flink is nice to have
- Exposure to IBM Sterling Integrator is nice to have
- Telecom or high-availability enterprise support experience is nice to have
- CI/CD deployment pipeline experience in a support context is nice to have
