About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Install and maintain mobile test equipment
Perform database changes, repairs on all cell site components as well as wide area network equipment
Resolve difficult problems
Work with contractors on existing cell site reports to ensure work is being done to engineering specifications
Assist other technicians in monitoring/testing wireless network performance and/or resolving cell site problems
Conduct collection and presentation of field data of wireless market as required
Perform basic grounding system maintenance
Perform manual or electronic cross connect functions
May be responsible for implementation of new services/technologies/equipment, as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 2 years related technical training or equivalent experience
Minimum of 1-year time in title as Wireless Technician, or MSC/RNOC Technician
Valid state driver's license, or CDL, whichever is applicable, and satisfactory driving record check
Basic knowledge of pertinent FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations
Ability to drive a vehicle with manual gearshift
