About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install and maintain mobile test equipment
- Perform database changes, repairs on all cell site components as well as wide area network equipment
- Resolve difficult problems
- Work with contractors on existing cell site reports to ensure work is being done to engineering specifications
- Assist other technicians in monitoring/testing wireless network performance and/or resolving cell site problems
- Conduct collection and presentation of field data of wireless market as required
- Perform basic grounding system maintenance
- Perform manual or electronic cross connect functions
- May be responsible for implementation of new services/technologies/equipment, as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 2 years related technical training or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 1-year time in title as Wireless Technician, or MSC/RNOC Technician
- Valid state driver's license, or CDL, whichever is applicable, and satisfactory driving record check
- Basic knowledge of pertinent FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations
- Ability to drive a vehicle with manual gearshift
