About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Generate new sales revenue by hunting and prospecting within your territory
- Actively hunt for new leads through external networks and cold calling
- Understand the communication and technology needs of small and mid-sized business customers
- Develop new accounts and expand existing ones by establishing and nurturing long-term relationships with customers
- Consultative selling to overcome objections and find sales opportunities
- Craft responses for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and present beneficial products and services
- Design and implement strategic initiatives to grow and retain revenue stream of assigned complex accounts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
- 5-8+ years of outside sales and/or B2B sales experience, with a preference for technology-based sales
- Experience and knowledge in IT and advanced technology
- Proficiency in managing sales funnels and previous experience with CRM systems
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record, current auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle
