About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Actively hunt for new leads within your assigned territory through external networks and cold calling.
  • Understand the communication and technology needs of small and mid-sized business customers.
  • Develop new accounts and expand existing ones by establishing and nurturing long-term relationships.
  • Utilize consultative selling skills to overcome objections and identify customer needs.
  • Craft responses for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and present beneficial products and services.
  • Design and implement strategic initiatives to grow and retain revenue stream of assigned accounts.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2-5 years of outside sales and/or B2B sales experience, with a preference for outside telecommunications sales.
  • Experience and knowledge in fiber broadband technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed assigned sales targets.
  • Strong ability to network and negotiate effectively.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and current auto insurance.
