About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Our Lead Business Strategy work in small teams to support and lead projects and craft actionable, innovative recommendations for AT&T’s senior leadership.
You’ll analyze the impact of industry trends, emerging technologies, macroeconomic & competitive factors, and third-party supplier spend & engagement.
Thought leadership and strategic analysis on fast-paced, complex opportunities and challenges facing AT&T’s Transformation and Supply Chain organization.
Fact-based negotiation support, including industry analytics, competitive event strategy, and “should cost” negotiation benchmarking.
Best-in-class market intelligence including M&A monitoring, supplier financial health assessments, and supply chain visibility to best position AT&T for success.
Creative, strategic solutions to drive meaningful transformation for AT&T’s operations and cost structure.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience with management consulting, analytics, strategy, or other related experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a Supply Chain related field.
Strategic mindset and strong analytical skills.
Ability to provide structured thinking to deconstruct complex problems and help advance strategic initiatives with data-driven solutions.
Ability to work with multiple sources of data to develop financial and operational models.
Strong communication (both oral and written) skills and presentation skills.
Effective leadership and teamwork skills working with cross-functional teams.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering against tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
