About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Actively hunt for new leads within your assigned territory through external networks and cold calling.
- Understand the communication and technology needs of small and mid-sized business customers.
- Develop new accounts and expand existing ones by establishing long-term relationships with customers.
- Utilize consultative selling skills to identify key trends, uncover customer needs, and leverage industry knowledge.
- Craft responses for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and present benefits to customers.
- Design and implement initiatives to grow and retain revenue stream of assigned complex accounts.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5-8+ years of outside sales and/or B2B sales experience, preferably technology-based sales.
- Valid Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record, current auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle
- Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed assigned sales targets
- Strong ability to network and negotiate effectively.
- Experience and knowledge in IT and advanced technology.
- Proficiency in managing sales funnels and previous experience with CRM systems.
