About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Actively hunt for new leads within your assigned territory through external networks and cold calling.
  • Understand the communication and technology needs of small and mid-sized business customers.
  • Develop new accounts and expand existing ones by establishing long-term relationships with customers.
  • Utilize consultative selling skills to identify key trends, uncover customer needs, and leverage industry knowledge.
  • Craft responses for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and present benefits to customers.
  • Design and implement initiatives to grow and retain revenue stream of assigned complex accounts.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5-8+ years of outside sales and/or B2B sales experience, preferably technology-based sales.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record, current auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed assigned sales targets
  • Strong ability to network and negotiate effectively.
  • Experience and knowledge in IT and advanced technology.
  • Proficiency in managing sales funnels and previous experience with CRM systems.
