About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform information systems A&A as defined in applicable ICDs and guidance.
- Develop and Implement security related directives and guidance for IA/IT/IM.
- Utilize risk management strategies for information technology solutions.
- Ability to effectively coordinate A&A activities of industry and Government information systems to meet acquisition milestone requirements.
- Produce Effective technical report and general correspondence writing ability.
- Manage and track systems or programs involved in the A&A process.
- Ensure appropriate knowledge and skill transfer occurs.
- Conduct independent assessments of security controls to evaluate their effectiveness.
- Develop methods to monitor and measure risk, compliance, and assurance efforts.
- Validating security requirements and ensuring systems meet established security standards.
- Performing security reviews to identify gaps in security architecture and develop risk management plans.
- Collaborating with IT and security teams to implement corrective actions and ensure compliance with regulations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- EDUCATION: High School OR Associates AND 7 Years’ Experience
- Bachelor’s AND 5 Years’ Experience
- Master AND 3 Years’ Experience
- CERTIFICATION: Must meet minimum requirements for DoD 8570 IAT Level 3 to include ONE of the following: CASP+ CE CCNP Security CISA CISSP GCED GCIH CCSP
