About the role
- Recommends strategic network planning and network evolution policy decisions
- Evaluates network capacity/performance and develops strategies to accommodate growth
- Creates deliverables: Plans of Record, Forecasts, Serving Plans, Use Permits, Cost Estimates, Handoffs, Workprints, Utility Agreements
- Plans, designs, or analyzes network components, infrastructure, and architecture to support strategic goals
- Provides short- and long-term planning for access network technologies, including analysis and solution recommendations
- Implements network strategy and supports both Wireline and Wireless components
Requirements
- Office presence a minimum of 5 days per week (Office Worker - NOT Remote)
- Must be located in the posted location(s); no relocation offered
- Preferred Bachelors of Science degree in Math, Science, or Engineering
- Typically requires 1-2 years experience
- Working knowledge of technical principles and ATT technologies
- Knowledge of engineering position, design tools, and databases
- Ability to complete most small to medium projects
- Plans, designs, or analyzes network components, infrastructure, and architecture
- Experience with Wireline and Wireless network components (may include both)
- Ability to provide short- and long-term planning for access network technologies
