About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Actively hunt for new leads within your assigned territory through external networks and cold calling
  • Understand the communication and technology needs of small and mid-sized business customers
  • Develop new accounts and expand existing ones by establishing and nurturing long-term relationships
  • Utilize consultative selling skills to overcome objections and identify key trends
  • Craft responses for Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Design and implement strategic initiatives to grow and retain the revenue stream of assigned complex accounts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
  • 2-5 years of outside sales and/or B2B sales experience, with a preference for technology-based sales
  • Experience and knowledge in IT and advanced technology
  • Proficiency in managing sales funnels and previous experience with CRM systems
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record, current auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle
