Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design applications, platforms or services by translating core business requirements into comprehensive technical solutions
  • Ensure functional, performance, and reliability through hands-on system design, technical enablement, and strategic decision-making across platform, network, software, and cloud environments
  • Design and create scalable, high-performance, and reliable system architectures and platforms
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and ensure seamless integration of system components
  • Provide guidance to development teams, align technical solutions with business objectives, and collaborate with stakeholders
  • Conduct performance and reliability analysis, and resolve system issues and bottlenecks
  • Maintain detailed system documentation, ensure security and compliance, and stay updated with industry trends for ongoing improvement
  • Operate and oversee security controls, continuously monitoring for threats and reducing risk through proactive assessments
  • Define and evolve secure architectures across applications, systems, and networks, continuously strengthening defenses against emerging threats
  • Enforce security policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide leadership with clear visibility into the organization’s security posture
  • Proactively identify security risks and lead incident response efforts to minimize operational, financial, and reputational impact
  • Collaborate with IT, Legal, vendors, and business teams to embed security into solutions, provide expert guidance, and promote security best practices across the organization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Computer Science desired
  • 7+ years of related experience
  • Certification is required in some areas
  • At least one industry cert highly recommended: CISSP, CEH, CCIE Security, CompTIA Security+, and ISC2
