About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Direct, mentor, and support a team of sales professionals to achieve peak performance and foster ongoing skill development.
- Design and execute sales strategies to generate new business, expand existing accounts, and achieve ambitious revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with mid-market clients, resolve complex challenges, and participate in major negotiations to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Allocate territories and resources to maximize coverage and business opportunities.
- Execute sales plans, assign responsibilities, monitor results, and drive hiring and promotion decisions to build a high-performing team.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) preferred
- 8+ years of progressive sales experience, with an emphasis on business-to-business or mid-market sales
- Deep understanding of sales operations, product offerings, and market dynamics
- Experience in talent acquisition, performance management, and team development within a sales organization
- Proven ability to consistently achieve or surpass sales targets in a competitive, complex business environment
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing sales teams to consistently meet or exceed goals
- Expertise in creating and implementing effective sales strategies in dynamic markets
- Advanced ability to cultivate, maintain, and strengthen key client partnerships
- Strong skills in evaluating performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and solving complex problems
- Experience managing territories and aligning resources for optimal results
