About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Sales employees will concentrate on acquiring new business and conducting customer visits in the field.
- When not in the field, they are expected to collaborate with their team from their assigned office location, if available.
- Lead and Develop Sales Teams: Direct, supervise, and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing coaching and feedback to optimize individual and team performance.
- Drive Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business, expand existing accounts, and achieve revenue targets.
- Manage Key Client Relationships: Oversee and nurture relationships with key clients, participate in complex negotiations, and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Optimize Territory Performance: Allocate and manage sales territories to ensure optimal coverage and maximize business opportunities.
- Oversee Team Operations: Execute sales plans, assign tasks, monitor adherence to company policies, and influence hiring and promotional decisions within your team.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate sales teams to achieve or exceed targets.
- Strategic Sales Planning: Strong skills in developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
- Client Relationship Management: Expertise in building, maintaining, and expanding client relationships.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess performance, resolve complex issues, and drive continuous improvement.
- Sales Operations Experience: Familiarity with territory management, resource allocation, and sales plan execution.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.
- Sales Experience: 8+ years of related sales experience, including experience with business-to-business sales.
- Product and Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of AT&T’s solutions and market positioning in connectivity, technology, and communications.
- Decision-Making: Experience with hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
- Track Record of Success: Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets in a complex business environment.
