About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supervise a team of IT employees responsible for the development and delivery of IT system solutions
Manage a team working in technical sub families including Agile, Application Design and Programming, Business Support, Database, Systems Architecture and Engineering
Coordinate software development lifecycle process
Assist in evaluating, partnering with technology vendors, outside consultants, and internal resources
Work with business areas to identify and quantify business issues with projects
Develop business strategy and assist in setting strategic technical direction
Provide leadership for projects, collaborating with clients to develop business cases and requirements
Prepare detailed plans and schedules, calculate resource allocation and assignment
Conduct joint goal setting and performance reviews
Develop highly scalable architecture for Order Domain and Enterprise order lifecycle
Apply experience with Cloud technologies including AWS/Azure and NoSQL databases
Utilize Event-Based architecture for asynchronous processing with Kafka
Lead engineering teams and apply experience with Digital Transformations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Requires a Master degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Information Systems
5 years of experience in the job offered, or 5 years of experience in a related occupation developing highly scalable architecture
Applying experience with Cloud technologies including AWS/Azure
Applying experience in NoSQL databases including Elasticsearch/SOLR and Redis and Relational databases including Postgres and Oracle
Utilizing Event-Based architecture for asynchronous processing with Kafka
Applying subject matter knowledge in building high-volume and high-transaction applications utilizing Java, Spring Boot, and Maven
Performing requirements gathering, analyzing requirements, and decomposing into feature delivery items
Leading engineering teams
Applying experience with Digital Transformations that includes migration of legacy platforms
