Sales Manager – Professional Services
AT&TSales Manager overseeing professional services at AT&T, leading teams to deliver client-centered solutions and managing complex projects with a focus on customer satisfaction.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- To leverage industry expertise to lead teams in delivering strategic, client-centered solutions, managing complex projects from client identification through final invoicing, while ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to business development initiatives.
- Client Relationship Management: Manage client relationships, ensuring efficient, high-quality service delivery and satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Oversee staffing, skill development, and retention of consultants, providing mentorship and support.
- Project Management: Manage project activities, ensuring budgets, schedules, and performance standards are met.
- Strategic Planning: Develop service offerings, client strategies, and best practices to meet business goals.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical oversight, solving complex problems and ensuring solution accuracy and quality.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 15-20+ years of experience in planning, designing and deploying complex telecommunications and data infrastructures from both a consulting organization as well as enterprise perspectives preferred.
- Background includes business thought leadership and needs analysis, solutions design, infrastructure and application implementation, management and operational process development, troubleshooting and documentation.
- Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to maintain positive attitudes through effective team building, enjoys mentoring others, and consistently produces at a high level of productivity.
- Very good oral and written communication skills.
- Customer delivery experience required in following technologies: SDWAN/SASE expertise, Wireless expertise, Voice and Contact Center Transformation expertise.
- Sales Support – As part of the AT&T Consulting SE organization, provides pre-sales support for networking opportunities across the Consulting portfolio, including strategy, assessments, deployment and optimization engagements.
- Billing - Support engagement management activities and billing on projects. Understanding of Fixed Fee, Time and Material business models with associated Accruals.
- Proposal Development – Develop resourcing model, timelines and costs of engagements. Develop Statement of Work (SOW) and RFI/RFP development. Present proposals to customers.
