About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and coordinate complex IT service projects as part of a large government contract.
Responsible for resource allocation, project planning, risk management, and direct oversight of cross-functional teams.
Serve as the key point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring project objectives are met on schedule and within budget.
Prepare and present project status reviews and other formal reviews to Government Project Managers and stakeholders.
Rapidly assemble and lead focused, cross-disciplinary Government/Contractor teams to address urgent or unexpected cost, schedule, or technical challenges.
Collaborate and coordinate with multiple organizations—both internal and external—to ensure alignment and support for project objectives.
Oversee projects in highly technical IT environments, including event monitoring and management, security services, IP telephony, video teleconferencing, and new equipment or service implementations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in two of the following: Demonstrated experience managing projects in large-scale, technical IT operations environments (e.g., event monitoring, security services, IP Telephony, VTC, systems implementation).
Experience working with technical teams in highly specialized environments, including systems engineering and administration.
Strong planning, organization, and resource management skills.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Proven leadership and mentoring abilities, with experience directing cross-functional teams.
Ability to rapidly assess and respond to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced environment.
Skilled in risk analysis and mitigation strategies.
Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
