About the role
- Oversees entry to senior-level sales employees, responsible for executing sales plans, assigning tasks, and adherence to company policies
- Leads the team to manage average sales quota or territory
- May have consumer or mid-size to large, complex business to business sales
- Utilizes strong product and pricing knowledge, exercises judgment and resolves complex problems
- Responsible for influencing decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, and promotional activity for direct subordinates
- Manages sales activities for assigned accounts, partners with district management, and drives growth of products to achieve sales objectives
- Provides leadership on national accounts and manages ongoing relationships with third-party vendors, including joint marketing campaigns, promotional materials, product supply, and issue resolution
- Partners to develop and implement strategic and tactical programs for profitable business growth and collaborates with channel operations to ensure effective policies and organizational support
- Delivers accurate forecasts, achieves monthly, quarterly, and annual goals, conducts operational reviews, and ensures compliance with account agreements
- Consults with the corporate legal department to develop account agreements and other legal documents, ensuring terms and conditions are followed
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
- Current auto insurance
- Reliable vehicle per transportation needs of market
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired
- 8+ years of related sales experience
- Proven leadership skills
- Delivering results
- Ability to develop and manage partner relationships
- Bilingual - Advanced (English/Spanish)
