About the role
- Store Layout Design: Create innovative and functional store layouts that optimize space utilization and enhance the customer shopping experience
- Brand Alignment and Collaboration: Ensure all store designs are consistent with the brand’s visual identity and guidelines and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, and store management to ensure cohesive and practical store designs
- Site Visits and Vendor Coordination: Conduct site visits to assess space requirements and gather necessary measurements and data, and coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure the implementation of design plans according to specifications
- Project Management: Lead key national design initiatives by defining scope, schedule, budget, resources, and deliverables, while coordinating cross-functional stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget execution
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired
- 5+ years of related experience
- Certification is required in some areas
- Design Software Proficiency: Utilize CAD software and Vector works, as well as other design tools to create detailed floor plans, 3D models, and renderings of store layouts
