Responsible for providing 24x7 network operations surveillance and fault management support.
Perform remote monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of UNIX/LINUX servers.
Quickly respond to system alarms, troubleshoot, and isolate complex technical issues.
Partner with peers and technical support organizations to manage services and restore services.
Manage multiple simultaneous troubles including paging out and setting up management bridges.
Work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed according to operations requirements.

Requirements

Unix skills via command line is required, no exceptions.
Typically, 2-5 years experience troubleshooting complex issues in an operations environment.
Clear understanding of DNS troubleshooting and record provisioning.
Must have strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and strong interpersonal skills.
Willingness to own issues until problems are resolved. Strong written and oral communication skills.
Bachelor’s Degree or above in technical field is desired.
Technical Certifications desired.
