About the role
- Collaborate across teams to align visual design with overarching strategies (campaign, site, and user experience).
- Work cross-functionally with writers, producers, and strategists to deliver on-brand creative work.
- Work closely with technology and brand teams to troubleshoot site issues and update components to align with brand and business requirements, including accessibility.
- Use style guides for consistent design and language across projects and products.
- Factor in usability testing results when making design and creative decisions.
- Contribute to the evolution of AT&T design systems and best practices as needed.
- Mentor fellow digital designers and stay abreast of emerging design trends and technology and how they may boost the customer experience.
- Help cover teammates’ workload as needed.
- Communicate openly, share knowledge, and promote process (AT&T ways of working).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, UI/UX design, visual communication, or similar.
- Five+ years of related experience.
- In-house or ad agency experience a plus.
- Portfolio featuring digital campaigns for various customer touchpoints and marketing channels.
- Background in telecom, technology, or similar complex industry a plus.
- Adept in digital brand experience and customer-focused thinking.
- Able to design experiences for both B2B and B2C audiences.
- Comfortable making data-driven design decisions to drive engagement and conversion.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Well-versed in accessibility standards, responsive design, and current design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud).
- Strong presenter who can convey a clear vision with diplomacy.
- Able to challenge the status quo and bring creative solutions that go beyond the brief, support the strategy, and drive the business forward.
- Experience with Workfront (or similar PMS).
