About the role
- Collaborate across teams to gather and review software requirements/user stories, provide estimates, and support the software deployment scheduling and coordination.
- Manage the scope of Production Change Requests through the lifecycle; to include but not limited to prioritizing defects, coordinating deployments to the testing environments to Production Deployment.
- Analyze risk assessment, ensure client and internal communications are aligned.
- Collaborate with Operations, development, and testing teams to ensure all activities are completed in a timely manner with minimal and/or no risk to the business or CSO.
- Host daily stand-up calls, work to remove any impediments, bugs/defects, manage all agile processes including the tracking to completion of User Stories, Features, and objectives
- Coordinate and lead Iteration planning and collaboration among other business units.
- Driving Scrum principles, values, behaviors and methodologies throughout the organization by encouraging adoption of a truly Agile mindset
- Successfully schedule and coordinate all changes to production with minimal to no risk to clients and the business.
Requirements
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Technical background/experience within a Cybersecurity / IT organizations
- Experience facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Experience planning, scheduling, and coordinating releases across multiple teams
- Skilled at collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, product owners, and stakeholders
- Ability to remove impediments and shield the team from distractions
- Experienced with one of Release Tools: Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, Jira
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science or Cybersecurity
- 3+ years of related experience.
- Certification is required in some areas.
