About the role
- Engineer Solutions: Design and implement robust backend services and RESTful APIs to support critical business applications across Field Operations Technology.
- Own the Lifecycle: Take full ownership of your features, from initial design through deployment.
- Solve Complex Technology Challenges: Collaborate and Architect efficient solutions leveraging industry standards and best practices.
- Innovate & Learn: Continuously explore and evaluate new technologies —such as LLMs, agents, and the latest Azure features—to find faster and better ways to address business challenges.
- Collaborate: Partner directly with business stakeholders to translate their needs into effective technical solutions, ensuring that requirements address the real problem.
Requirements
- 5 + years Coding Proficiency in Java with an emphasis in Spring Boot
- Engineering Fundamentals: strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming, data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Database Knowledge: Solid experience with relational databases (SQL), complex queries
- Cloud Native Mindset: Practical experience building applications in a cloud environment (Azure preferred, but AWS or GCP experience is applicable)
- Adaptability: Proven track record of quickly learning new languages, frameworks, or tools.
- Preferred: Experience with the Azure ecosystem (Data Factory, SQL, DevOps), interest or background in GenAI/LLMs, and familiarity with DevOps practices like CI/CD, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science.
