About the role
- Design and implement scalable data platforms and integrations
- Build secure APIs, architect cloud-based solutions, and develop data pipelines that enable advanced analytics and business insights
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, end-to-end solutions that support our technology-driven initiatives
- Ensure API security, scalability, and performance through maintenance of RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
- Create and maintain clear API documentation
- Architect and deploy cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP for scalability and resilience
- Manage cloud resources, monitor performance, and optimize costs
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
- Build data pipelines to ingest, transform, and analyze structured and unstructured data
- Collaborate with data scientists to integrate machine learning models into production systems
- Implement change data capture processes for real-time data updates
- Develop and maintain Kafka producers and consumers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in back-end or full-stack development
- Strong proficiency in at least one back-end language (e.g., Python, Java)
- Hands-on experience designing and developing APIs
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD processes
- Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Pandas, SQL) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
