About the role

  • Responsible for the patching, monitoring, user administration, and maintenance of MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL database servers
  • Play a key part in problem determination and resolution, supporting internal customers, and ensuring all configurations align with company standards

Requirements

  • Strong experience with MySQL, including patching, monitoring, user administration, troubleshooting, and customer support
  • Solid Linux operating system skills
  • Experience with Oracle Database Server, including patching, user administration - 2+ years
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL, including patching and monitoring
  • English language proficiency (both spoken and written) is mandatory for the role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Computer Science is a plus. 5+ years of related experience desired.
