About the role
- Support the design, planning, development, and evaluation of advanced hardware and software technologies
- Recommend network architecture and evolution strategies aligned with corporate initiatives
- Assess emerging hardware and software technologies for applicability to cloud-based and purpose-built network infrastructures
- Utilize or develop network modeling and planning methodologies to deliver cost-effective solutions
- Define subsystem interfaces and allocate application resources for software-defined network elements across hybrid platforms
- Develop comprehensive test and implementation plans for both in-house and vendor-supplied hardware/software solutions
- Evaluate the impact of vendor solutions on Mobility and Wireline networks and overall system performance
- Collaborate across cross-functional domain teams to define end-to-end system-level design requirements
Requirements
- Intermediate-level experience with hands-on responsibilities
- Subject matter technical knowledge within a discipline and sound understanding of ATT technologies
- Preferred Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math, or equivalent experience
