About the role
- Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities for ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, etc.)
- Gather requirements from business units, IT teams, and end users to create and maintain a prioritized product backlog
- Write clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
- Prioritize backlog items based on business value and stakeholder input
- Lead agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives
- Ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements
- Analyze metrics, feedback, and system performance to identify opportunities for enhancement and drive adoption of ServiceNow capabilities
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure solutions meet acceptance criteria and maintain high quality standards
- Support organizational change initiatives by providing documentation, training, and communication regarding ServiceNow changes
- Stay current on ServiceNow platform releases, new features, and industry best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role, preferably with ServiceNow
- Proven experience with ServiceNow platform administration, configuration, and module deployment
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
