About the role
- Research emerging technologies and recommend system enhancements.
- Define target architecture and solutions for BSS transformation.
- Serve as SME, designing scalable, resilient system architectures.
- Develop impact assessments and solution intent documents.
- Lead security-by-design and ensure compliance across platforms.
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines, code management, and interface design.
- Drive development, integration, and maintenance of technologies.
- Support deployment, audit processes, and mentor team members.
- Design and develop comprehensive system architectures spanning hardware & software.
- Lead design initiatives and develop solutions for security and compliance.
- Identify gaps in core platforms or business logic and propose effective solutions.
- Decompose EPICs and features into user stories and perform development (coding) to deliver business functionality.
- Serve as a key contributor for large-scale technical initiatives and projects.
- Manage user story coverage and demo acceptance processes.
- Assist with defect resolution activities.
- Review and provide robust deployment and backout strategies.
- Apply critical thinking and strategic vision to deliver high-impact billing transformation projects.
- Develop secure, scalable, resilient, and high-performing solutions with embedded quality and security.
- Oversee platform operations, drive continuous improvement, and ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Requirements
- 8+ years’ experience in system engineering, architecture, or development
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- Extensive billing experience, especially in wireless/broadband, ordering, and assurance
- Experience with event-driven system integrations utilizing Kafka and the Confluent Cloud Platform
- Hands-on expertise in Java, microservices, Couchbase, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and Confluent Cloud
- Expertise in security by design and compliance
- Experience with AI in application development, quality, monitoring, and scalability
- Proven ability to design high-performance, scalable systems
- Strong technical documentation and collaboration skills
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and continuous learning mindset.
