About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for cybersecurity areas across products, services, infrastructure, networks, and applications
Provide protection for AT&T, its customers, and vendors/partners
Support projects involving protection of devices, customers, assets, data, information technology, and networks
Support innovation, strategic planning, technical proofs of concept, testing, lab work, and technical program management tasks
Analyze complex security issues and develop engineering activities to mitigate risk
Analyze hardware and software solutions, recommend purchases, and identify modifications for cybersecurity needs
Develop policies and procedures to minimize network intrusion, malware events, and vulnerability issues
Apply measures to block malicious code and applications
Conduct forward-looking research, planning, and strategy to strengthen cybersecurity defenses
Work across cyber incident response, product testing, risk analysis, research, awareness and training, vulnerability assessment, intelligence and investigation, systems engineering, application testing, digital forensics, software assurance, application development, IoT planning and testing, and policy/standards
Utilize Azure and AWS cloud environments
Configure and maintain cryptographic systems, vaults, HSMs, high availability, and disaster recovery
Conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and incident response for cryptographic systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Cyber Security, Information Systems, or Applied Computer Science
Five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation
Experience utilizing cloud environments, including Microsoft Azure and AWS
Experience using encryption algorithms, secure protocols, and cryptographic libraries
Experience with PKI architecture, encryption technologies, TLS protocols, VPN, IPSec, Identity and Access Management, Key Management, and Secrets Management systems
Experience utilizing HashiCorp Vault, Oracle Key Vault, and Hardware Security Modules in enterprise environments
Experience with certificate lifecycle management
Experience using Python and Bash for key rotation and vault integration for secure automation
Experience configuring and maintaining high availability and disaster recovery for vault and HSM systems
Experience with FIPS 140-2/3, PCI DSS, GDPR, and other regulatory frameworks
Experience conducting security audits, vulnerability assessments, and incident response related to cryptographic systems
