About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define designs and provide technical enablement for application components and subsystems
Drive important design decisions for the development team
Elaborate designs and interfaces for specific components
Define subsystems and interfaces, allocate responsibilities, and communicate interaction requirements
Align development teams to a shared technical direction and elaborate solutions and interfaces
Validate technology assumptions and evaluate implementation alternatives
Establish critical solution-level NFRs and participate in defining others
Create and enable the Continuous Delivery Pipeline
Participate in planning, definition, and high-level design of system solutions
Develop the Architectural Runway for new business Features and Capabilities
Work with portfolio stakeholders, Solution Architects, and Enterprise Architects to develop, analyze, split, and realize enablers
Participate in project planning, system and solution demos, and retrospective workshops
Assist with architectural integration of external components, systems, and platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math
5 years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or 5 years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in a related occupation
Experience utilizing Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
Experience utilizing Python and C#
Experience utilizing Robot Framework
Experience utilizing AWS Batch, AWS Lambda, and Amazon Athena
Experience utilizing SQL Lite and Snowflake DB
Experience utilizing JupyterHub
