About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead complex financial analyses focused on profitability, expense management, revenue performance, and business growth
  • Identify margin improvement opportunities by analyzing revenue and cost relationships, profitability trends, and operational performance drivers
  • Build and enhance financial models, forecasting tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions
  • Develop new analytical frameworks, controls, and processes in environments where limited structure exists
  • Build relationships with Sales, Operations, Accounting, and Finance leaders to identify business risks and opportunities, improve revenue realization, and drive accountability
  • Evaluate financial performance, challenge assumptions, and provide data-driven recommendations regarding risks, opportunities, and strategic actions
  • Utilize AI, automation, and advanced analytics to streamline processes, improve accuracy, and reduce manual effort
  • Influence leadership decisions through financial expertise, executive communication, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven storytelling
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor for complex financial and business challenges
  • Understand stakeholder objectives and business strategies to anticipate financial impacts, influence decision-making, and align financial priorities with operational goals
  • Apply knowledge of balance sheet accounting, including accruals, deferrals, reserves, and timing-related transactions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, corporate finance, profitability analysis, or related disciplines
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
  • Experience translating complex financial data into actionable business recommendations
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and financial reporting tools
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships, proactively influence stakeholders, drive alignment across organizations, and lead through influence rather than authority
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with executive audiences
  • Preferred: MBA, CPA, CMA, or other advanced business/finance credential
  • Preferred: Experience with AI-enabled finance tools, business intelligence platforms, and process automation technologies
  • Preferred: Experience building reporting, forecasting, and analytical solutions from the ground up
  • Preferred: Knowledge of revenue recognition, profitability management, and operational finance
