About the role

  • Create and maintain automation scripts to accelerate PE/CAM processes and reduce errors
  • Enhance and update internal PE/CAM tools to improve usability and efficiency
  • Analyze PE/CAM workflows and identify opportunities for optimization
  • Keep personal tools and utilities up to date to match current production requirements
  • Help define clear standards for software development and documentation
  • Design and manage databases to organize critical PE/CAM data
  • Collaborate with other departments to assess technical feasibility and integrate systems
  • Act as the primary contact for IT and external partners to ensure system security and reliable operation

Requirements

  • Completed technical education (e.g., HTL, HTBLA, FH, or university) or several years of relevant professional experience
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming, preferably Java
  • Experience with modern development tools such as Git, Maven, and Azure DevOps (CI/CD)
  • Understanding of relational databases, e.g., MSSQL
  • Experience with Perl and shell scripting is a plus
  • Familiarity with GNU/Linux systems and Windows Server is an advantage
  • Strong spoken and written German and English skills for internal and external communication
