About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide personal protective services and static post coverage
- Conduct security advances, threat assessments, route planning, and transportation planning
- Provide security driving and executive transportation
- Respond to crises and provide physical security escorts, medical assistance, and security driver duties
- Develop and deliver special event security plans
- Provide security support for special events
- Coordinate with local security, law enforcement, and other parties to assess area safety
- Support investigations involving persons or groups of concern
- Collaborate with protective intelligence functions and threat assessors
- Submit timesheets and expense reports
- Complete assigned administrative duties
- Attend required initial and retraining programs
- Maintain required licenses
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5 years of related experience in security services, military, law enforcement, or suitable equivalent education
- 2 years of experience specific to executive protection
- Required state or municipal licensing for armed personal protection services in Florida, Texas, Washington, Tennessee, Virginia, and/or Las Vegas, Nevada
- State-issued driver's license
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification
- Ability to work with limited supervision and follow instructions
- Effective and tactful communication with executive security staff, clients, principal personnel, and diverse populations
- High ethical standards, honesty, and professional demeanor
- Ability to interact with contract security, event planners, vendors, law enforcement, and others
- Understanding of executive protection principles, duties, and requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, and move for extended periods
- Ability to travel
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Executive Protection training academy completion preferred
