About the role

  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle (Shift-Left Testing);
  • Create test plans and test cases (manual or automated);
  • Define priorities and plan tests for system requirements, setting deadlines that improve delivery visibility for stakeholders;
  • Prepare test data sets;
  • Execute manual and automated tests (stress, load, performance, white-box/black-box/gray-box, exploratory, regression, usability, security, etc.) across different platforms and devices and analyze the results;
  • Review product code against specifications;
  • Debug the system, detect defects and identify potential improvements, document them and track them to resolution;
  • Identify and propose improvements in both the quality control process and the software development lifecycle;
  • Identify opportunities for test automation and implement automation solutions;
  • Implement agile testing strategies and techniques, leveraging industry references and best practices;
  • Propose and provide test/quality metrics;
  • Mentor and support the development of other QA team members;
  • Promote a quality-driven culture within the development team;
  • Participate in Agile meetings and ceremonies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Quality Analyst, with a successful track record implementing automated tests and executing functional, acceptance and regression tests across different platforms and devices;
  • Strong experience with version control (Git), integration testing and code coverage;
  • Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks; Cypress and Playwright are a plus;
  • Experience testing APIs and using tools such as Postman;
  • Experience with TypeScript;
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD);
  • Practical experience applying TDD and BDD (Cucumber);
  • Knowledge of Microservices and Cloud.
  • **Differentials:**
  • Experience and expertise managing QA across multiple projects;
  • Experience with performance testing frameworks; JMeter and/or k6 are a plus;
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks; Jest and/or Vitest are a plus.
