About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Report to the SYS Consumer Marketing Team Lead.
  • Support all budget needs for the laptop, desktop, phone and all-in-one PC portfolios.
  • Ensure that the Marketing team has access to budget and partner funding in a timely manner.
  • Manage partner funding compliance and the partner funding claiming process.
  • Ensure that all team members understand the budgeting and partner funding program requirements.
  • Lead financial analysis and support of US Marketing Team.
  • Analyze and optimize Marketing investment by segment.
  • Manage the US Marketing budget process, ensuring complete accuracy of budget allocations, maximizing partner funding utilization, controlling overall spending and finalizing allocations by deadlines.
  • Lead communication and vendor funding management (application & claims) with key partner funding programs (ex. Microsoft Jumpstart, Intel CCF, NVIDIA MDF, etc).
  • Train the extended Marketing team on program requirements, processes, and deadlines.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management reports that compare actual results to forecasts.
  • Support team with dispute reconciliation with accounting and finance within US and HQ teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline required.
  • 1–3+ years of budget/project management experience.
  • Experience with consumer electronics partner funding programs is a strong asset.
  • Well-developed analytical skills and the ability to grasp and explain complex situations and issues.
  • Team player with ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders and build business partnership.
  • Ability to adapt to a demanding, rapidly changing work environment and to handle numerous duties, manage budgets, balance ongoing requests, set priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented and excellent attention to detail.
  • Positive, result-oriented attitude and a love of learning new things.
  • Strong presentation and written and verbal communication skills is a must.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, Google for Work, and project management tools.
  • Fluent in English.
