About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build the Configuration Engine for Expert Workflows
- Define and own the product vision for the platform’s configuration and automation systems.
- Design scalable frameworks that support client-specific customization, including permissions, features, and UI components.
- Ensure that each client experience feels bespoke while maintaining a single, maintainable codebase.
- Partner with engineering to develop flexible configuration models and extensible architecture.
- Orchestrate AI and SDK Integrations into the Expert Experience
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Expert platform and core technology teams.
- Lead integration of advanced capabilities such as AI agents, communication SDKs, and real-time guidance tools.
- Ensure all integrations are modular, configurable, and reusable across multiple clients.
- Drive alignment on platform standards and integration patterns.
- Lead Cross-Functional Feature Guardrails and Deployment
- Collaborate with Product Managers across domains (e.g., Client Solutions, Support, Business Intelligence) to enable safe feature deployment.
- Design and implement guardrails that prevent configuration conflicts and ensure system stability.
- Establish processes and tooling that allow targeted, client-specific feature releases.
- Advocate for platform-first thinking across product teams.
- Manage System Health and Feature Performance for the Platform
- Own the performance, reliability, and scalability of the Expert platform experience.
- Monitor the impact of configurations and compute-intensive features (e.g., generative AI) on system performance.
- Partner with engineering to identify bottlenecks and drive performance optimization initiatives.
- Define and track key platform health metrics and SLAs.
- Standardize Client Onboarding and Feature Lifecycle
- Transform manual client onboarding into automated, scalable workflows.
- Standardize feature flagging, configuration management, and deployment practices.
- Enable implementation teams with tools to safely configure and launch features.
- Ensure full lifecycle management of features, including rollout, monitoring, iteration, and deprecation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5–8+ years of product management experience, preferably in platform, infrastructure, or enterprise SaaS environments.
- Proven experience building scalable systems that support customization and multi-tenant architectures.
- Strong understanding of APIs, SDKs, system integrations, and modern software architecture.
- Experience working with AI/ML-powered features or data-intensive systems is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across multiple teams and domains.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to inform product decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
