HR Generalist
Asure SoftwareHR Generalist responsible for managing new hire administrative tasks and offboarding processes in a hybrid environment. Ensuring compliance, benefits management, and support for employee initiatives and programs.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle all administrative tasks for new hires, including I-9 completion (including e-Verify); enrollment in benefits; and 401k setup.
- Handle all administrative offboarding activities, including exit interviews over Teams or in person, processing terminations in HCM, sending offboarding information (including NDA information), and moving personnel files to terminated status.
- Manages all benefit processes, including both new hire and annual enrollment process.
- Processes benefit changes, such as qualifying events, terminations, etc.
- Ensures retroactive benefit changes are updated to payroll on a timely basis for correct payroll processing.
- Leads open enrollment informational and/or help sessions.
- Provide support to employees for leaves of absence, including all compliance-related communications and documentation.
- Partner with the HR team on value-added strategic priorities such as employee culture initiatives, employee engagement surveys, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and more.
- Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of the employee handbook, and contribute to policy development.
- Assist in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies, and provide guidance and interpretation for business operations.
- Participate in the development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and ongoing reports for company requirements.
- Suggest new procedures and policies for improving employee experience as well as the efficiency of the HR department and company.
- Ensure compliance with local and national regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and procedures when necessary.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
- Aptitude for problem-solving and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
- Advanced knowledge of HRIS and ability to learn new technical systems, when necessary
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources, business, or related field
- Proven success working in an HR department with 3-5 years of experience
- Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail
