About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for selling cloud-based time and attendance solutions to business customers across the U.S. and Canada.
- Manage and respond to inbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and web leads.
- Conduct outbound prospecting to follow up on leads, nurture opportunities, and engage existing customers for upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Develop quotes, present pricing, and negotiate terms to close sales.
- Maintain and grow a portfolio of business accounts and channel partners.
- Understand customer pain points and identify the right solutions to meet their operational needs.
- Demonstrate product capabilities and features via phone, video, and email.
- Provide guidance on system configuration, deployment options, and integration with payroll systems.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of PayClock Online software, compatible time clock hardware, and competitive differentiators.
- Accurately record sales activities, customer interactions, and deal progress in the CRM system.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business , Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, SaaS solutions, or consultative selling.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., NetSuite preferred).
- Excellent listening and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment.
- Consultative and customer-focused selling style.
- High product curiosity and willingness to learn.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
- Persuasive communicator and confident negotiator.
