About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The discovery, development, maturation and eventual integration of rover applicable technologies with government and commercial partners.
  • Cross discipline coordination and integration of design efforts.
  • Supporting business development in proposal responses, customer development and market exploration, leveraging a comprehensive overview of technical capabilities of the rover.
  • Supporting the rover payloads customer team from a technical integration standpoint.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering field (Mechanical, Aerospace, Etc.). Masters preferred.
  • 5+ years experience in cross functional teams with a demonstrated history of making a meaningful impact within these teams, 10 years preferred.
  • A history of developing new technologies, approaches or implementations to solve problems or improve performance in an engineering environment.
  • Experience in the application of modelling tools and experimental methods to analyze engineering problems with an understanding of applicability, correlation and actionable outcomes.
  • Experience with technology development in an expedited timeline environment
  • A demonstrated understanding of technology development timelines relates to a product offering such as a rover, where we are now, where we are going next, what is the future after that? How do we prepare, plan and execute on that development plan.
  • A genuine demonstration of engineering curiosity, learning about new fields of technology and working out how to apply them to solve problems.
